Zatio is an AI receptionist for small and medium businesses in the UK and Spain: it answers the business’s phone calls, WhatsApp and website chat, qualifies each enquiry, books appointments and hands over to the team whatever needs a person, with full context.

Channels and languages

• Phone: answers calls with a natural voice, in the caller’s language, and if you set it up puts the call through live to the number you choose. Each call is transcribed (not recorded) and can last up to 10 minutes. Professional and Growth add “Call me” on your website and outbound calls to new leads and reminders.
• WhatsApp: full conversations on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. Zatio is verified by Meta as a WhatsApp Business Tech Provider: you connect your WhatsApp number yourself from your dashboard. Your team replies from the Zatio dashboard, also on mobile.
• Website chat: a widget installed with one line of code.
• All three channels on every plan, with the same assistant, the same rules and the same dashboard.
• Languages in the UK: British English, Polish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Spanish. In Spain: Spanish (also Catalan, Basque and Galician), English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish. If the caller switches language, Zatio switches too.
• Says it is an AI at the start of every conversation.

How it works

• Reads your website: when you sign up yourself, in about 10 minutes it analyses your site and builds its knowledge base, and you review it before it goes live.
• It is set up to answer only with your business’s information and, if it doesn’t have something, to say so and let your team know.
• Keep your number: forward your calls to your Zatio number, all of them, out of hours, or when you don’t answer.
• By default Zatio answers every call. With “When Zatio answers”, included in every plan, your phone can ring first during your hours for as many seconds as you choose (10 to 40): if nobody answers or the line is busy, Zatio answers, and out of hours it answers straight away. Switch it on in your dashboard.
• Books into Microsoft Bookings, Calendly or Cal.com, transfers the call to your team when it should and leaves a summary of every conversation in your dashboard (by email if you want it).
• Sends every lead through a signed webhook that you connect to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM with Make, Zapier or n8n (no direct connection). CSV export too.

• Extra voice minute: £0.10 (0,12 € in Spain). Email alerts at 80% and 100% of the plan’s minutes; past the plan’s minutes Zatio keeps answering, and extra minutes are billed separately.
• Month to month, no minimum term. Annual billing: pay 10 months, get 12 (2 months free).
• No setup fee when you sign up yourself. Optional done-for-you setup: £179 (199 €) one-off.
• Meta’s WhatsApp conversation fees are passed through at cost, with no markup.

Data and privacy

• Data stored in the European Union (Stockholm): database and application.
• AI processing (Anthropic for text, Google for voice) may take place outside the EU under EU standard contractual clauses. Conversations are not used to train models.
• Calls are transcribed, not recorded.
• Every customer has a data processing agreement (DPA), which is part of our terms; if you need a signed copy, we’ll send it.
• TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest; each customer’s data isolated at database level.

What Zatio does not do

• No integration with hotel PMS, channel managers or Booking.com, and it does not book hotel rooms by itself: it takes the request or sends your booking engine.
• It does not record calls: it transcribes them.
• It does not pretend to be a person: it says it is an AI.
• No change of number and no minimum term.
• It does not replace your team: it hands over whatever needs a person.
• WhatsApp is not answered from the WhatsApp Business app: your team replies from the Zatio dashboard.
