The first twenty minutes of every heat-pump call, automated.

Heat-pump enquiries are heavy: heat-loss, radiators, cylinder space, MCS certification, BUS grant eligibility, noise distances from neighbours. Zatio does all of that on WhatsApp and your website, in plain English, before a surveyor has even opened their laptop.

Why heat pumps are bleeding your sales team

Every installer we talk to says the same thing: heat pumps take three times longer to qualify than solar, and a third of the enquiries shouldn’t have been surveyed in the first place.

Every lead is a 30-minute triage

Gas boiler? Single-glazed? Flat? Grade II listed? Radiators under-sized? Your team spends half a day on WhatsApp before booking a survey.

BUS grant confusion

Homeowners don’t know if they qualify for the £7,500, when it’s paid, or whether they need an EPC first. You’re the unpaid helpdesk.

Ineligible properties on your survey diary

System bore sizes, noise distances to neighbours, planning in conservation areas — you find out after driving two hours.

Built for MCS-certified UK installers

All of this is included — no add-on pricing. It’s what turns a curious homeowner into a survey that actually converts.

Heat-loss indicator

Rough heat-loss from property type, floor area, EPC, insulation notes — enough to size a ballpark system before a surveyor turns up.

BUS grant eligibility

Checks EPC date, no loft/cavity insulation recommendations outstanding, property type — tells the homeowner where they stand in 10 seconds.

Noise distance check

Post-April-2025 MCS rules: 3m to neighbour windows, or acoustic assessment. Flagged up-front, not on-site.

Radiator & cylinder triage

Existing radiator sizes, airing cupboard dimensions, combi-vs-system — captured before you send a surveyor with a measure tape.

Planning & listed-building flags

Conservation area, listed building grade, PD rights exhausted — honest ‘you’ll likely need permission’ rather than a wasted survey.

Books surveys 24/7

Qualified leads land in Microsoft Bookings / Cal.com / Calendly with all the pre-work attached to the calendar invite.

Questions we hear a lot

Will it mis-price a heat pump?
It doesn’t price. Heat pumps are too property-specific for that to be responsible. Zatio gives an indicative system size band and always routes to a site survey for a quote.
How does it handle BUS grant questions?
It tells the homeowner what the grant is, what the current value is (£7,500), and runs an eligibility check (EPC valid, no outstanding loft/cavity recommendations). It does not submit the application — that’s still your job post-install.
What about Ofgem and MCS compliance?
Zatio never claims a quote, a performance figure, or a grant outcome that hasn’t been confirmed by your certified surveyor. Everything is framed as ‘indicative — your surveyor will confirm’, which is the MCS-compliant way to hold a first conversation.
Can it handle a hybrid gas + heat-pump enquiry?
Yes — you tell it what you install and what you don’t. If you’re monofuel-heat-pump only, it’ll say so and disqualify hybrid enquiries politely.
How quickly can we be live?
3–5 working days for the agent itself, then a week of joint tuning on real conversations. You see every transcript.

Let’s see it qualify a heat-pump lead

15 minutes on a call. We’ll ask you a few questions about your typical enquiry, then run a live WhatsApp simulation from a homeowner’s perspective. You’ll see the output in your inbox by the end of the call.
